I live alone with my old dog and a cuddly cat in a busy home. I am in no particular order, a mother, a grandmother, a loyal friend, an office agent, an artist, a tinkerer, a francophone, an anglophone. I was born in Ontario, Canada, grew up in Drôme, France, spent my teen years in Genève, Switzerland and returned to Ontario in my mid 20s. I’ve had many experiences. Many are not glamorous. I have broken a lot and repaired. And again, there is no glamour in strength. I am rich in creative energy. Feed it and it feeds me life. The small property where I dwell is alive. This is where I invent, think, create, and dream. Where I nourish my senses and transpose ideas from the ordinary to magic. Cook, forage, preserve, paint, design, write, sing and dance, eat, tend gardens, renovate and build, make something from nothing, bring the inside outside and the outside inside are all ways through the portal to the ordinary. It’s my ordinary. No apology.
